After the great success of the first edition, also this year the science rises “at the top” in Courmayeur to bring the public to scientific issues in an interactive, curious and engaging way. From 22nd to 24th August the second edition of the “Scienze in Vetta – Adapting to a changing world” was held in Courmayeur Mont Blanc. The scientific festival, organized by Cannizzo Produzioni, is back for the second year to educate and entertain the public with the aim of bringing it closer to current issues related to the scientific world. The scientific festival was conducted at the Jardin de L’Ange, in the center of Courmayeur, by the journalist and scientific director of the review Roberta Villa and by the popularizer Alberto Agliotti who coordinated the many events, talks, debates and workshops. The event was attended by the scientific and climatologist Luca Mercalli, journalist and science writer Massimo Polidoro. Workshops for children have educated and amused the little ones thanks to practical scientific tests based on the game to increase participatory learning. For the more curious, an Escape Room led to the Moon in the year of the fiftieth anniversary of the lunar landing. On Friday night Giobbe Covatta, with his monologue “6 Gradi”, entertained and made the public reflect on the issue of climate change, while Saturday evening Maestro Giovanni Allevi excited an enthusiastic audience with the elegance of his “Music and Words” show which concluded the review by giving everyone the appointment to 2020.
